So I was watching the news online today, and this video is so crazy to me. Why? because I was also born with this cartilage deformity and it was pretty much the exact same as the boy in the video. I went through my correctional surgery in sophomore year and it changed my life. The whole experience was pretty much the same too, the name calling, the pressure to be "normal", the anxiety, the relief, and the overall satisfaction. Good to know I wasn't alone. It's tough being different.
